One of the things that popped up on my Facebook “memories” today was a post I made a few years ago about one of the various times I have done NaBloPoMo (National Blog Posting Month, for those not in the know) in the past. I really needed some motivation to get back into posting – so I thought I’d give it a go again this year. It seems like as good a reason to start posting again as any.

I have so many thing to catch up on here and a lot of things I want to change or spruce up. Like making a header that relates to libraries or storytime for starters. I have a ton of storytime and programming posts to share and I have also started doing a new Craft & Play program that I’m pretty excited about. I went to a Summer Learning Workshop back in August that I have been thinking a lot about, as well as some other training, webinars, and classes abut which I want to get some thoughts down. I was also accepted in the ALSC mentoring program, won a travel stipend to the SPELL Symposium and CLEL Conference in Denver back in September, and just a week ago, I traveled back to Colorado for a job interview. I’m not sure where that stands, but it’s something to share here, even if it’s only for me to reflect on later.

So, here we go! 1 post down, 29 more to go – let’s see if I can actually make it through this time!

Also, just so you know – today was the last day of my first year working in Children’s Services.
